Join us this Saturday 15th September for a special viewing of AD OGNI COSTO at 21.00 at Atlantis Books.
New film of the Collective Amanda Flor, young boys are joined by exceptional talent, and their work has always been characterized by extremely tight budget and a tough sense of cinema. Gennaro, who is unemployed, can not see his son Pasqualino because it has lost the right. After trying in vain to find a job, eventually resume business he knows best and that makes it more: the commissary. But will have to contend with other local pusher claiming the territory, in a world made entirely of urban wanderings impregnated with loneliness and distress, days all the same, full of threats and indifference. A film rough, chipped, full of bumps and scars, which comes to life in a staging impassive and nervous and has a final, from noir, that astonishes.
David Alfonsi (Italy, 1977) and Denis Malagnino (Italy, 1977) founded in 2004 on Collective Amanda Flor, and under this name in 2006, produce and direct their first feature film re-education. The film is presented in Critics’ Week of the Venice International Film Festival as the closing film. The group realized after five short (Annunciation, A small satisfaction, the smell of fish, immigrants from the future and visitation). In 2010, Amanda Flor becomes a film production company.
The viewing is organised by the Santorini Biennale, hosted by Atlantis Books.
The viewing will start at 21:00 and the entrance is FREE.
